Actually, it always runs IF there are available drivers and I've been stuck at the station waiting and trying to get in touch with people who might know what's going on a couple of times on a Friday before ending up sharing a taxi instead. Sometimes it only comes if summoned. Best advice is take the LT mobile number with you and call to find out when/if you can expect it to next turn up if it's not there waiting.

Note that it doesn't start on Thursday until 5pm. And it picks up from the back door of the station (Pride Park) - thus avoiding any problems with rush hour traffic.

I suggest it would be useful to display a map of the pickup point on this website.
Also the details of the pickup service operation window.

So that's into The Wyvern (waving at PizzaqHut) and carry on through the back?

I suggest that that map is very usefull information and the link should be recorded on an Admin thread or a directions page of the website.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.

I am trying to get the office team to post an official statement as I do not have the necessary access, however, the LT will not be able to provide any shuttle service from Derby railway station to Locko Park during the Summer Moot, due to driver and vehicle availability. I am however aware that the LT have approach 75 Taxis and believe that they have negotiated a set rate of £10. The telephone number for 75 Taxis is as follows: 01332 757575 and they should be familiar with the route as they regularly drop off and pick up from Locko.

The LT will be running a shuttle service on the Sunday afternoon at the end of the event to transfer players to the station.

Hi, this will be my first time getting the Shuttle from derby station, just a few quick questions:

1. After reading that it was not running at summer moot, does anyone know if it will be running for the gathering?

2. Does the shuttle run on any schedule/ timetable?

3. Is there any cost for catching it?

4. Does it run on Thursdays if I was planning to arrive early to the gathering?

quick answers:
don't know
no, on demand / when full. etc
no
yes but not sure when it starts

Also mentioned in another thread, note that it picks up from the "back door" not the "front door".
